Sponsor Terms and conditions
These Sponsorship Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all sponsorships for BLISS-Con (“Event”), operated by BLISS-Con, LLC (“Organizer”). By submitting payment, signing a sponsorship agreement, confirming participation, or otherwise engaging as a sponsor, the sponsoring organization (“Sponsor”) agrees to these Terms.
1. Event Information
Event Name: BLISS-Con
Event Dates: June 20–21, 2026
Event Location: Hyatt Regency Dulles
Organizer: BLISS-Con, LLC
Organizer reserves the right to update event programming, layout, vendor/sponsor areas, venue assignments, room designations, or schedule as necessary for operations and guest safety.
2. Sponsorship Levels & Benefits
Sponsor benefits vary by sponsorship tier and may include (without limitation): advertising placements, on-site activations, booth space, badges, digital/media inclusion, social media promotion, announcements, signage, giveaways, and other promotional opportunities.
2.1 Non-Transferability
All sponsorship benefits are non-transferable, may not be resold, and may not be assigned to another party without the Organizer’s written approval.
2.2 Benefit Availability
Benefits are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until full payment is received (or payments are made according to an approved installment schedule).
2.3 Substitutions & Modifications
Organizer may substitute comparable benefits if certain placements become unavailable due to printing deadlines, venue restrictions, safety limitations, or scheduling/programming needs.
3. Payment Terms
Sponsor agrees to pay the sponsorship fee in accordance with the sponsorship invoice and/or sponsorship agreement.
3.1 Payment Methods
Organizer may accept payment via invoice, credit card, ACH, or other approved payment methods.
3.2 Late Payments / Non-Payment
Failure to make payment by the required due date may result in:
loss of reserved benefits and placements, and/or
removal from sponsorship programming, and/or
cancellation of sponsorship participation
Organizer is not required to provide refunds for benefits forfeited due to late or missed payments.
4. Cancellation, Refunds, and Postponement
4.1 Sponsor Cancellation
If Sponsor cancels participation for any reason, no refund will be issued. All sponsorship fees are non-refundable.
4.2 Event Reschedule or Postponement
If the Event is postponed or rescheduled, Sponsor acknowledges and agrees that:
sponsorship automatically rolls over to the new date(s), and
benefits will carry forward in good faith, subject to reasonable modifications
Sponsor is responsible for its own staffing, travel, shipping, accommodations, scheduling, and related costs.
4.3 Event Cancellation
If the Event is cancelled for reasons beyond Organizer’s control, Organizer may (in Organizer’s sole discretion):
roll sponsorship to a future BLISS-Con event, and/or
provide alternative digital/media benefits where applicable, and/or
provide a partial credit toward a future event
5. Sponsor Deliverables & Deadlines
Sponsor is responsible for providing all requested sponsorship materials, which may include:
sponsor logos (high-resolution files in approved format)
promotional copy
social media handles, links, brand guidelines
giveaway/product information (if applicable)
Failure to provide materials by stated deadlines may result in the inability to deliver certain benefits (including print and digital placements). No refunds will be issued for missed deadlines.
6. Intellectual Property & Brand Usage
6.1 Sponsor License to Organizer
Sponsor grants Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use Sponsor’s name, logo, trademarks, and branding materials solely for:
Event promotion
sponsor recognition
program guide and signage
website/social media
post-event recap content
6.2 Organizer Brand Usage Restrictions
Sponsor may not use BLISS-Con name, logo, likeness, trademarks, branding, or Event images for commercial purposes beyond the sponsorship relationship without written permission.
6.3 No Endorsement
Sponsorship does not imply Organizer endorsement of Sponsor, Sponsor products, or Sponsor services. Likewise, Sponsor may not imply endorsement by BLISS-Con outside the sponsorship relationship.
7. Exclusivity (If Applicable)
If category exclusivity is granted, it applies only:
within the defined sponsorship tier level, and
during the Event period
Exclusivity does not extend outside the Event unless explicitly stated in writing by Organizer.
8. Sponsor Conduct / Code of Conduct
Sponsor and all sponsor representatives must comply with:
BLISS-Con Code of Conduct
venue policies and regulations
federal, state, and local laws
Organizer reserves the right to remove Sponsor or Sponsor personnel for behavior or materials that violate Event policies, create safety concerns, involve harassment, discrimination, or conduct inconsistent with BLISS-Con values. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
9. Booth, Activation & On-Site Rules (If Applicable)
If Sponsor has on-site space or activations:
9.1 Staffing Responsibility
Sponsor is responsible for staffing its booth/activation during open hours and maintaining professional behavior.
9.2 Prohibited Items
Unless approved in writing, Sponsor may not use:
amplified sound
hazardous materials
explicit or illegal content
materials prohibited by venue policy
9.3 Damage Responsibility
Sponsor is financially responsible for any damage caused to venue property, Organizer property, or third-party property due to Sponsor materials, installation, or conduct.
10. Liability & Insurance
Sponsor acknowledges participation is at its own risk. Organizer is not responsible for:
loss or theft of sponsor property
damage to sponsor materials
injuries to Sponsor staff or attendees related to Sponsor activity
shipping delays or delivery failures
Organizer strongly recommends Sponsor maintain general liability insurance for the Event.
11. Indemnification
Sponsor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless BLISS-Con, LLC, including its officers, staff, volunteers, contractors, venue, and partners, from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from:
Sponsor participation
Sponsor products or services
Sponsor promotions, giveaways, or materials
Sponsor personnel conduct
12. Force Majeure
Organizer shall not be liable for delays, modifications, or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, government orders, public health emergencies, labor disputes, civil disturbances, war, terrorism, venue closure, or technical/utility failures.
Organizer may modify deliverables or benefits without refund in such cases.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the state of maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Entire Agreement / Updates
These Terms, together with any sponsorship invoice, tier description, or signed sponsorship agreement, represent the full agreement between Sponsor and Organizer relating to sponsorship participation.
Organizer may update these Terms at any time for clarity, safety, operations, or legal compliance. Updated Terms will be posted on the BLISS-Con website and apply to future sponsorship transactions.
15. Sponsor Acceptance
Sponsor acknowledges that by:
signing a sponsorship agreement, and/or
paying a sponsorship invoice, and/or
confirming sponsorship participation
Sponsor agrees to be bound by these Sponsorship Terms & Conditions.
